Plant Biology Minor

If you are interested in plants, but are majoring in another subject, you may want to consider a minor in Plant Biology.

Examples of majors that are enhanced by a Plant Biology minor include: Anthropology; Economics; Geography; Geological Sciences; Political Science; Recreation Studies; Sociology; and Wildlife Biology. Since science teachers are always in demand, education majors also are encouraged to consider a Plant Biology minor to complement their scientific expertise.

Requirements for a minor in Plant Biology consist of a minimum of 28 credit hours of coursework in Plant Biology, including PBIO 114, 115, 209, and 211, and at least two courses at the 300 level or above.
